Well a lot has changed since the last time I was on! It's been a few months and my life is GREAT! I realized a long time ago that I was stepping off the path I wanted to follow, but I couldn't find a way to get back on. I was in a very toxic relationship that I clinged to because it was my only constant, then I realized I am not happy, this person is not happy. I stepped away and looked at my life. I've changed my major at school. I am no longer going into teaching because I do not see myself being happy doing that. I want something more creative, more expressive.

I've also found a new love. Right in front of me the whole time. This kindred spirit and welcoming soul so unexpectedly became everything I needed. A true partner and team mate. I am the happiest I have been in long time (I would like to scream it from a mountain top!)

So my lessons learned? There are no accidents, no mistakes. Not that everything is predestined- you have choices to make, but bad choices can lead to good consequences. Be more optimistic! Everyday can be sunny if you want it to be!
